Welcome Dr. Laura Robison-Rabe, DMD, MS!
Dr. Laura Robison-Rabe was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico. She received a bachelor’s degree at the University of New Mexico. She then obtained her dental degree (DMD) at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland Oregon. While in dental school she did an internship at the University of Glasgow Dental School in Scotland. Following dental school, Dr. Robison went directly into an orthodontic residency at the University of Detroit Mercy, receiving her certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree. Dr. Robison-Rabe is a board certified orthodontist with the American Board of Orthodontists.
While in residency, Dr. Robison met Dr. Rabe who she was married to in March of 2010. As a couple they love to spend time in the outdoors and they truly appreciate the ability to have one another as a companion in life and a companion in their orthodontic career.
Dr. Robison wanted to be an orthodontist from the time she, herself, was a little girl who benefited from extensive orthodontic treatment. Her first-hand experience brings insightful understanding and a firm commitment to excellence for each individual patient. Her goal is a natural, healthy and beautiful smile for every one of her patients.
Dr. Robison fell in love with Tucson the first time she visited. The city is perfect fit for her. She appreciates what a city has to offer, but really enjoys that Tucson has a small-town feel. Dr. Robison is very active. She loves to spend time in the outdoors skiing, golfing, running and hiking. She also enjoys many other activities such as aerobics and travel. Her favorite way to spend her free time is with friends and family.
Commitment to the community is extremely important to Dr. Robison. She enjoys teaching the dental hygiene students at Pima Community College. She is also very active in the Junior League of Tucson, Southern Arizona Dental Society and Pima Study Club.
