 Bleaching

Are your teeth as white as you would like them to be? Bleaching is a safe, effective way to make your teeth whiter and brighter, ultimately improving your smile in yet another way.

 Crooked teeth

This condition can be caused by a number of things including: thumb sucking, tongue thrust, early loss of baby teeth, poor breathing airway, extra teeth, large teeth, missing teeth, wide spacing or a small jaw. Orthodontics can correct this problem and return teeth to their proper position.

   Lingual braces

Lingual braces are sometimes referred to as invisible braces because they are completely hidden behind the teeth. Conventional braces, whether metal or ceramic (clear), are attached to the front of the teeth while lingual braces are placed behind the teeth. Lingual braces are as safe and effective as conventional braces but allow the patient to feel less inhibited about wearing braces because they are invisible.
 Overbites
Many overbites are hardly noticeable but they can become more troublesome as the patient gets older. Overbites generally are caused by misaligned teeth. The points of the upper and lower teeth, specifically in the back teeth, should fit in between each other, but an overbite causes these points to meet instead.

 Smile
Looks can make a difference. Facial appearances can greatly influence how a student is treated by peers and teachers. Studies have shown that orthodontics can help improve a persons overall appearance and self image by creating a beautiful smile.

 Spacing of teeth
This condition can be caused by discrepancies between tooth size and jaw size, missing teeth, as well as muscle imbalance between the tongue and lips. Orthodontics can correct this problem by moving the teeth closer together to eliminate this problem.

 Sports & Mouth guards
Mouth guards are usually worn during sports and other activities to help prevent permanent injury during accidents. If you have braces, or even if you don't, a mouth guard could save your smile in the event of an injury.

 Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD)
Disorders of the temporomandibular joint are common with many people and can manifest themselves as headaches, earaches, tenderness of the jaw muscles, or dull, aching facial pain. There are many causes of TMD. Accidents or trauma to the joints are a common cause of TMD as well as oral habits such as clenching or grinding the teeth. Improper alignment of the teeth may cause the muscles to be excessively stressed and cause them to go into spasm.
